Brave Browser, the decentralized privacy-centric browser associated with the BAT token, has announced a public advertising program trial for MacOS users. During the 28 days of the trial, Brave will collect user data to try and tailor advertisements according to user preference.

70% of the advertisement revenue is to be redistributed to users, although the company has not specified if the trial will do the same.

Users of the browser can utilize BAT tokens to reward publishers, according to the amount of time spent on an article or website.
