Bitcoin Private (BTCP) has announced that its payment network, BTCP Pay will be launched on the 31st of July. The network has been in beta for the past few months, with over 300 merchants signed up.

BTCP Pay aims to provide instant conversions between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies, solving a major obstacle to mass adoption. Since the transaction happens through BTCP, privacy of the user is assured.

BTCP was created out of a fork of Zclassic, and aimed to provide privacy features to Bitcoin, rather than identify as a different project.
