Two Chinese school principals have been disciplined following the discovery that they had installed nine Ethereum (ETH) mining computers at the school. The school’s general manager, who had become suspicious at the loud noise levels combined with the slower IT network and high electricity fees, had investigated and discovered this arrangement.

The two officials had stolen around $2100 worth of electricity, and the Principal has been removed from his position while the vice principal has been issued a warning.
