Five South Koreans have been arrested for planting crypto mining malware on more than 6000 computers. These hackers had sent out 32,435 emails to many job seekers, representing themselves as potential employers.

The 30k email addresses were procured from recruitment platforms and malware disguised as information from employers were sent out, although local police have stated that the quick actions of anti-virus software and cybersecurity researchers have prevented the group from generating any significant revenue from their actions.
