Camila Russo, a fintech journalist, claims that Bitcoin transactions aren’t as anonymous as most people have been led to believe. She got her information from an unnamed FBI agent who disclosed that it was easy to trace a transaction using an IP address. The journalist insists that Bitcoin use has gone back to its rampant use of funding criminal activities rather than make legitimate purchase of goods and services. However, upcoming cryptocurrencies have better security and privacy features.
