Wissanu Krea-ngam, Thailand’s deputy Prime Minister, has called for tighter regulations on cryptocurrency trading. He was speaking at a Counter-Terrorism Financing Summit where he called for more regulations and increased security protocols to ensure that experts keep up with the current trends used by criminals and terrorist groups. Thailand came up with a legal framework governing cryptocurrencies earlier this year and has been vocal about improving security systems around virtual assets.
